Paul Saomba vs Ricky Chimbetu

Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at Chitungwiza Mumbengegwi, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 02/07/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe-Harare Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Saomba (10 - 5 - 5) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Ricky Chimbetu(9 - 7 - 4) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Saomba and Chimbetu weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Tholet, and the three ringside judges are Peabo Chikwava, Darryl Sibanda and Mason Mandioma.
