Shaun Nhieu vs Rehman Bacchus

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Johor Bahru Mustafa, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 03/07/2027:

Clearly AI Malaysia-Johor have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shaun Nhieu (14(9) - 0) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Rehman Bacchus(5 - 3 - 2) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Both Nhieu and Bacchus weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Sabet, and the three ringside judges are Saad Hassan, Haaris Gaber and Azam Hamdan.  

Round 1: 

Nhieu forces Bacchus to retreat into a corner.  Nhieu lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Nhieu clinches his opponent.  Nhieu uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Bacchus's kidney. Nhieu pushes his forearm into Bacchus's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nhieu about fouling.  
Nhieu pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Nhieu pivots to the side of his opponent.  Nhieu lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Nhieu clinches his opponent.  Nhieu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Nhieu steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Bacchus attempts to land a right hook, but Nhieu sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.

Nhieu closes the distance.  Bacchus throws a left hook, but Nhieu clinches his opponent.  Nhieu leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Nhieu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Bacchus pivots to the left of his opponent.  Nhieu lands with a ramrod jab.  
Nhieu gets on the inside.  Bacchus throws a left uppercut, but Nhieu ties up his opponent.  Nhieu tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bacchus's kidney. 
Nhieu advances into close range and lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Bacchus sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nhieu lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Nhieu throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Nhieu tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nhieu gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.

Bacchus gets on the inside.  Nhieu lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Nhieu holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Nhieu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bacchus sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nhieu connects with a cross.  
Bacchus sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nhieu lands a solid left hook.  Nhieu clinches his opponent.  Nhieu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Nhieu throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

You can sense Bacchus is getting frustrated in there.   He steps inside, but then strikes Nhieu with a blatant low blow!  The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care! 
Nhieu closes the distance and lands a telling left uppercut.  BACCHUS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Bacchus almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Nhieu lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BACCHUS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Nhieu!
