Hiro Kurata vs Eiji Oye

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Teva Ocean Arena, Nagoya,  taking place on 02/08/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Aichi Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hiro Kurata (21(6) - 1) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Eiji Oye(5 - 3 - 1) from Toyota, Japan.  Kurata weighed in at 226 pounds and 5 ounces, while Oye weighed in at 246 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Shimamoto, and the three ringside judges are Hideki Kawasaki, Yuji Tanaka and Daiki Onishi.
