Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 31/07/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elderson Mbanefo (22(9) - 4(1)) who hails from Buguma, Nigeria and Louis Muepu(25 - 6(3)) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Both Mbanefo and Muepu weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser McNabb, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Gowan, Francesco Ghiglia and Ian Rabb.
