John Calley vs Jack Janzer

Boxing Daily Report from the Sugar Valley promotion promoted show at Chandler Moffett, Chandler,  taking place on 07/07/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are John Calley (3 - 0) who hails from Anchorage, USA and Jack Janzer(1 - 3 - 2) from Minneapolis, USA.  Both Calley and Janzer weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd San Angelo, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Oropeza, Zachary Hunter and John Charles.  

Round 1: 

Calley gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Calley is on target with a right hook.  
Calley feints a jab, but Janzer ignores the feint and is on target with a left hook.  
Calley lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Calley is on target with a right hook.  As Janzer tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Calley dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Calley digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Calley hits home with a cross.  
Calley closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Janzer switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Calley blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Janzer's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Janzer's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Calley pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Calley lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Calley throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Calley is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Calley walks Janzer down, trapping him in the red corner.  Calley drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Calley hits home with a right uppercut.  
Janzer switches the action to the outside.  Calley is on target with a jab.

Calley steps inside and manouvers Janzer onto the ropes.  Calley drives a left uppercut into Janzer's ribs.  Calley tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Janzer is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Calley lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Calley closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Calley drives a left hook into Janzer's body.  
Calley is on target with a left hook.  
Janzer feints a right hook, and then hits home with a right hook.  
Calley advances into close range.  Janzer goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Calley time to recover.  
Janzer leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Calley steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Calley lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.
