Robert Whyte vs Sam Downey

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Spectrum Stadium, Orlando,  taking place on 17/07/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-South Atlantic Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Whyte (15(1) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Augusta, USA and Sam Downey(12 - 0) from Augusta, USA.  Whyte weighed in at 168 pounds, while Downey weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Ruthven, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Mescall, Sam Dickins and Oleos Infante.
