Dong-won Ma vs Satoshi Eguchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Ninja Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 03/07/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dong-won Ma (1 - 0) who hails from Hwaseong, South Korea and Satoshi Eguchi(7 - 11 - 2) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Ma and Eguchi weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Fuse, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Yamamoto, Kaede Toyama and Ryo Nagasawa.  

Round 1: 

Ma hits home with a cross.  
Ma is on target with a cross.  
Ma steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Ma advances into close range.  Eguchi attempts to land a left hook, but Ma slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ma advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Ma holds on to his opponent.  Ma is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ma advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Ma holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Eguchi pushes his forearm into Ma's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Eguchi.  
Ma sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ma gets on the inside.  Ma pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ma lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ma steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ma hits home with a left hook.  
Ma manages to force Eguchi into the corner.  Ma drives a right hook into Eguchi's body.  Ma clinches his opponent.  Ma is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ma quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ma has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Ma lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ma gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ma tries to land a jab, but Eguchi blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ma lands a stiff jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Eguchi's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Eguchi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Eguchi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ma digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  As Ma tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Eguchi dabs at his face checking for damage.  Eguchi has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Ma is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Ma lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Ma drives a right hook into Eguchi's ribcage.  Ma clinches his opponent.  Eguchi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ma's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ma sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Ma pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ma is on target with a jab.  
Eguchi is on target with a right hook.  
Eguchi steps away from his opponent.  Ma finds the target with a jab.  
Eguchi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ma contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Eguchi throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Eguchi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Ma feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ma gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Ma advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Eguchi throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ma lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ma pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Eguchi's body.  
Ma sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Eguchi's ribs.
