Montel Lantigua vs Yago Herron

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at University de Puerto Rico en Bayamon, Bayamon,  taking place on 17/07/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Puerto Rico-Bayamon Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montel Lantigua (24(2) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Yago Herron(9 - 8) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Both Lantigua and Herron weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Capo, and the three ringside judges are Guido Bonilla, Ricardo Silvera and Jair Sebastian.
