Stanislav á Penev vs Boris á Kanokov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bulgaria-Sofia promoted show at Sofia Lunchev, Sofia,  taking place on 14/06/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bulgaria-Sofia Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Stanislav á Penev (11 - 9 - 4) who hails from Sofia, Bulgaria and Boris á Kanokov(13 - 5 - 3) from Sofia, Bulgaria.  Both Penev and Kanokov weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Krastyu á Kabardov, and the three ringside judges are Sava á Kushev, Gavril á Ovenov and Blagoy á Nazarov.  

Round 1: 

Penev advances into close range.  Kanokov sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kanokov attempts to land a left uppercut, but Penev blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Penev hits home with a right hook.  
Penev forces Kanokov to back into the ropes.  Kanokov lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Penev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kanokov tries to keep the action at long range.  Penev hits home with an overhand right.  
Kanokov drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Penev steps inside.  Kanokov pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kanokov attempts to land a left uppercut, but Penev blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kanokov sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kanokov's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Penev forces Kanokov to retreat into the corner.  Kanokov connects with a left hook.
