Ganesh Halder vs Govind Prasad

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata,  taking place on 24/07/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ganesh Halder (9 - 14(2) - 1) who hails from Surat, India and Govind Prasad(7 - 7(1) - 6) from New Delhi, India.  Halder weighed in at 230 pounds and 11 ounces, while Prasad weighed in at 248 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gurudas Tewari, and the three ringside judges are Rohit Sarang, Adnan Mirza and Praveen Rao.
