Hugh Berne vs Matthew McGovern

Boxing Daily Report from the All Talk Promotions promoted show at Dean Sloan Gym, Dublin,  taking place on 13/07/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Berne (6 - 15 - 2) who hails from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland and Matthew McGovern(9 - 7 - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Berne weighed in at 135 pounds, while McGovern weighed in at 134 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Liam Healey, and the three ringside judges are Liam Ryan, Michael Sloan and Sam McCaig.  

Round 1: 

McGovern pivots to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.
