Matthew Curtis vs Chris MacNair

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkolola Promotions promoted show at Perth Shevchuk, Perth,  taking place on 14/07/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Curtis (8 - 1 - 1) who hails from Perth, Australia and Chris MacNair(9 - 9 - 5) from Perth, Australia.  Both Curtis and MacNair weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul MacNab, and the three ringside judges are Oscar MacKechnie, Chris Vaughn and Matt Dickins.  

Round 1: 

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Curtis has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
