Seppo Makela vs Eetu Pasanen

Boxing Daily Report from the Acquaah Promotions promoted show at Espoo Ipatti, Espoo,  taking place on 19/07/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland-Uusimaa Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Seppo Makela (9 - 6(1) - 4) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Eetu Pasanen(7 - 11 - 1) from Vantaa, Finland.  Both Makela and Pasanen weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joonas Kivikoski, and the three ringside judges are Reima Peura, Matteus Vaatainen and Aulis Isokangas.  

Round 1: 

Makela is looking to keep his distance.  Makela feints a cross, but Pasanen does not fall for it and lands with a cross.

Makela steps inside.  Makela lands a right hook.  As Pasanen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Makela has taken some damage there.  That has caused nasty swelling  around the left eye.  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  We are going to the scorecards.
