Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami,  taking place on 31/07/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-South Atlantic Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Mariano (13(7) - 1) who hails from Charlotte, USA and Jay Weir(19(1) - 3) from Richmond, USA.  Mariano weighed in at 135 pounds, while Weir weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Villalta, and the three ringside judges are Sam Dickins, Fraser Vail and Robert Armstrong.
