Kanja Iyer vs Kalidas Banik

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex Boxing Arena, Pune,  taking place on 24/07/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the India Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kanja Iyer (18(4) - 0) who hails from Jaipur, India and Kalidas Banik(13 - 6(1) - 2) from Kanpur, India.  Both Iyer and Banik weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rajat Patil, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Kassar, Hassan Hares and Pritish Chawla.
