Boxing Daily Report from the Monster Promotions promoted show at Tait McKenzie Centre, Toronto,  taking place on 21/08/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Glasco (19(5) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Jay Pew(4 - 7 - 4) from Surrey, Canada.  Glasco weighed in at 112 pounds, while Pew weighed in at 111 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cade Queneau, and the three ringside judges are Noel Coulthard, David Mason and Dave Brown.  

Round 1: 

Glasco waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Pew digs in a right uppercut to Glasco's ribs.  
Glasco closes the distance.  Glasco pivots to the left of his opponent.  Glasco lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Glasco ties up his opponent.  Glasco pushes his forearm into Pew's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Glasco.  
Glasco sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pew drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Glasco steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Glasco is on target with a cross.  
Pew advances into close range.  Glasco lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Glasco drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Glasco lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Glasco ties up his opponent.  Glasco is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Glasco lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  Glasco holds on to his opponent.  Pew leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Glasco's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Glasco forces Pew to back into the ropes.  Glasco lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Glasco pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Glasco lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Glasco advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Glasco ties up his opponent.  Glasco leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Glasco's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Glasco is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Pew steps inside.  Glasco is on target with a left hook.  
Glasco gets on the inside.  Glasco pivots to the right of his opponent.  Pew tries to land a right hook, but Glasco slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Glasco lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Pew drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Glasco drives a firm right uppercut into Pew's ribs.  Glasco clinches his opponent.  Glasco leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Glasco lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Glasco connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Glasco is on target with a sharp left uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pew dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Glasco lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Glasco forces Pew to back into a corner.  Glasco is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Glasco lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Glasco feints a left hook, and then lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Glasco is on target with a right hook.  
Glasco sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Glasco connects with a left hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Pew has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
