Daichi Ikeda vs Kaede Matsumoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Matsudo Seto, Matsudo,  taking place on 23/07/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daichi Ikeda (4 - 9(1) - 7) who hails from Funabashi, Japan and Kaede Matsumoto(12 - 4 - 1) from Ichikawa, Japan.  Ikeda weighed in at 200 pounds, while Matsumoto weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jun Usui, and the three ringside judges are Akira Oshita, Goro Horie and Yoshi Uehara.  

Round 1: 

Matsumoto steps inside and lands a left uppercut.
