William Ridpath vs Robert Leap

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at North Shore Bier, North Shore,  taking place on 26/06/2027:

Clearly Nkoloma Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are William Ridpath (7 - 10(1) - 4) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Robert Leap(1 - 2) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Ridpath and Leap weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hani Rarere, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Anderson, Colin Lawder and Lloyd Rease.  

Round 1: 

Ridpath is looking to keep his distance.  Leap quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ridpath throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
