Rob Wyly vs Arran McAleer

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 24/07/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rob Wyly (0 - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Arran McAleer(3 - 4 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Wyly and McAleer weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pepe Brunetti, and the three ringside judges are Zain Sharifi, Charlie Cacciari and Francesco Ghiglia.  

Round 1: 

Wyly steps inside.  McAleer throws a right hook, but Wyly ties up his opponent.  Wyly uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McAleer behind the head. 
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  McAleer has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.  
McAleer tries to keep the action at long range.  Wyly is on target with a sharp cross.  
Wyly is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Wyly connects with a left hook.  
McAleer forces Wyly to retreat onto the ropes.  Wyly is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
McAleer pivots to the right of his opponent.  Wyly connects with a cross.  
Wyly is on target with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Wyly gets on the inside.  Wyly sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McAleer throws a right hook, but Wyly ties up his opponent.  Wyly pushes his forearm into McAleer's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wyly pivots to the right of his opponent.  Wyly lands a left hook.  Wyly holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Wyly pushes his forearm into McAleer's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wyly about fouling.  
Wyly closes the distance and walks McAleer into the red corner.  Wyly hits home with a solid right hook.  
Wyly lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Wyly manages to force McAleer onto the ropes.  Wyly lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

McAleer sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McAleer attempts to land a cross, but Wyly slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wyly advances into close range.  Wyly quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McAleer is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Wyly lands a firm cross.

Wyly gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to McAleer's ribcage.
