Richie Strother vs Ian Paewai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/07/2027:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Canterbury have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richie Strother (8 - 5 - 3) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Ian Paewai(12 - 9 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Strother weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces, while Paewai weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Young, and the three ringside judges are Ian Webb, Noel Haxton and Tobias Vert.
