Richard Birrell vs Abdul Abdou

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Palais des Congress, Marrakech,  taking place on 30/07/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richard Birrell (14(2) - 0) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Abdul Abdou(5 - 10 - 5) from Marrakech, Morocco.  Both Birrell and Abdou weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Salamah Elhad, and the three ringside judges are Zarif Alsijilmasi, Salamah Elhad and Safwah Niebla.

Abdou cuts off the ring, trapping Birrell in the corner.  Abdou is not fighting as well as he'd like.   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref stops the action and tells Abdou to keep his punches above the belt.  He gives Birrell time to recover.
