Alejandro Mercado vs Roman Diez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Miranda promoted show at Caracas Sia, Caracas,  taking place on 02/07/2027:

Clearly AI Venezuela-Miranda have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alejandro Mercado (12 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Caracas, Venezuela and Roman Diez(13 - 9 - 3) from Caracas, Venezuela.  Both Mercado and Diez weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Orlando Huertas, and the three ringside judges are Ovidio Yniguez, Diego Deliz and Guillermo Marron.
