Merrill Olin vs Farhan Rashid

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Capital FM Arena, Nottingham,  taking place on 07/08/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the WRBA Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Merrill Olin (34(23) - 2(2)) who hails from Saint-Denis, France and Farhan Rashid(19(14) - 2(2) - 1) from Isfahan, Iran.  Both Olin and Rashid weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Dower, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Apted, Deri Hare and Nick Monahan.  

Round 1: 

Rashid advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  Rashid clinches his opponent.  Rashid pushes his forearm into Olin's face.  The referee warns Rashid and breaks the clinch.
