Faisal Abid vs Shane McNeil

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Manchester Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 13/08/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Faisal Abid (29(18) - 4(3)) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Shane McNeil(14 - 0) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Abid and McNeil weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Irfan Assaf, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Baldy, Brian Hall and Mark Querry.  

Round 1: 

Abid is looking to close the distance.  McNeil throws a left hook, but Abid ties up his opponent.  McNeil leans on his opponent using all his weight. Abid pushes his forearm into McNeil's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Abid lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS MCNEIL SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  McNeil quickly recovers.

Abid gets on the inside.  McNeil throws a right hook, but Abid ties up his opponent.  McNeil is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McNeil lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Abid walks McNeil down, trapping him in the corner.  McNeil throws a left hook, but Abid holds on to his opponent.  Abid is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McNeil tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Abid lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Abid lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McNeil throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Abid quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McNeil throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
McNeil gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
McNeil is on target with a jab.
