Briar Diago vs Henri Balla

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Dakar promoted show at Sylvain Bugul Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 01/08/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Briar Diago (12 - 3 - 1) who hails from Touba, Senegal and Henri Balla(6 - 9 - 3) from Dakar, Senegal.  Diago weighed in at 230 pounds, while Balla weighed in at 243 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gaston Ndong, and the three ringside judges are Josce Vanier, Channing Seigner and Valentin Gasson.
