Kai Ofosu vs Colin Dewornu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Asante, Kumasi,  taking place on 30/07/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kai Ofosu (12 - 6 - 1) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Colin Dewornu(4 - 10 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Ofosu and Dewornu weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Connor Salifu, and the three ringside judges are Otieno Adomah, Rob Adjei and Connor Salifu.  

Round 1: 

Dewornu finds the target with a jab.  
Dewornu tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ofosu feints a left hook, and then is on target with a left hook.  
Dewornu hits home with a cross.  
Ofosu strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Dewornu advances into close range.  Ofosu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Dewornu closes the distance.  As Ofosu tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Dewornu has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Dewornu lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ofosu hits home with a left hook.  Ofosu tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ofosu's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Dewornu's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.
