Mick Ndege vs Ben Katonon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Kahangi, Kisumu,  taking place on 01/08/2027:

Clearly AI Kenya-Kisumu have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Kisumu Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mick Ndege (13 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Ben Katonon(12 - 8(1) - 3) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Ndege and Katonon weighed in at 135 pounds.
