Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Little Flowers Arena, Kampala,  taking place on 02/08/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Bhimji (12 - 2(1) - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Tariq Farooqui(10 - 9(2) - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Bhimji weighed in at 147 pounds, while Farooqui weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vandwon Nakulima, and the three ringside judges are Michael Takuba, Salim Kalemazikusoka and Paul Butime.
