Fraser Stalker vs Nathan Cotts

Boxing Daily Report from the Billy Smith promoted show at Tuscaloosa Andrew, Tuscaloosa,  taking place on 02/08/2027:

Clearly Billy Smith have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fraser Stalker (12 - 10 - 7) who hails from Hoover, USA and Nathan Cotts(7 - 4 - 2) from Tuscaloosa, USA.  Stalker weighed in at 159 pounds And 11 ounces, while Cotts weighed in at 159 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Bateman, and the three ringside judges are Oliver Guilliams, Louis Garrow and Kenzie Lovett.  

Round 1: 

Stalker steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Stalker steps to the outside.  Stalker sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Stalker throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Stalker is looking to keep his distance.  Cotts tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Stalker gets on the inside.  Cotts lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Cotts is looking to close the distance and forces Stalker to retreat into a corner.  Cotts lands a right hook.

Cotts wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Stalker.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Stalker sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Cotts is looking to close the distance.  Stalker lands a left hook.

Cotts steps to the outside.  Stalker attempts to land a cross, but Cotts sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cotts manages to force Stalker into the blue corner.  Cotts is on target with a right uppercut.

Stalker quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cotts lands a cross.  
Stalker closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Stalker is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cotts goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Stalker's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Cotts's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Cotts's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
