Hilario Acevedo vs Ovidio Pedraza

Boxing Daily Report from the Dumashie Promotions promoted show at Barquisimeto Almeida, Barquisimeto,  taking place on 02/08/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Lara Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hilario Acevedo (19 - 0) who hails from Barquisimeto, Venezuela and Ovidio Pedraza(12 - 1 - 2) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Acevedo weighed in at 140 pounds, while Pedraza weighed in at 139 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kiki Mate, and the three ringside judges are Diego Penaloza, Ivan Yepez and Diego Penaloza.
