Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 07/08/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Borbon (11(9) - 0) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Rob Obier(5 - 13(1) - 2) from Saskatoon, Canada.  Both Borbon and Obier weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Gillespie, and the three ringside judges are Gerard Segalen, Stephen Morton and Cable Halimi.  

Round 1: 

Borbon steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Borbon lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Borbon advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  Borbon ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Borbon manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Borbon connects with a right uppercut.  Borbon holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Borbon pushes his forearm into Obier's face.  The referee warns Borbon and breaks the clinch.  
Obier throws a left uppercut, but Borbon clinches his opponent.  Borbon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Borbon lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Borbon clinches his opponent.  Borbon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Borbon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Borbon is on target with a sharp cross.  
Borbon drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Borbon throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Borbon holds on to his opponent.  Borbon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Borbon steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Borbon lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Obier attempts to land a left hook, but Borbon blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Borbon closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Borbon lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Borbon lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Borbon gets on the inside and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Borbon lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Borbon lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Borbon closes the distance.  Borbon pivots to the left of his opponent and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Borbon lands a jab.  
Borbon advances into close range.  Borbon pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Obier's body.  
Borbon throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Borbon ties up his opponent.  Borbon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Borbon lands a right uppercut.  
Borbon lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Borbon steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Borbon tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Obier's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Obier's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Borbon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Obier throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Borbon lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Borbon drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Borbon lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Obier attempts to land a cross, but Borbon sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Borbon is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Borbon is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Obier could be stopped here, if Borbon can find the right shot!  Borbon lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS OBIER TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  It looks like Obier has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Obier attempts to land a jab, but Borbon slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Obier closes the distance.  Borbon lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Obier throws a left hook, but Borbon clinches his opponent.  Borbon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Borbon about fouling.  
Borbon steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Borbon manouvers Obier onto the ropes.  Borbon drives a right uppercut into Obier's ribs.  
Borbon is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Obier's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Borbon senses Obier is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Borbon connects with a BRUTAL right hook.  OBIER IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Borbon!
