Boxing Daily Report from the Howe Out promoted show at Gunsan Saemangeum Convention Center, Gunsan,  taking place on 13/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the South Korea Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dong-won Sung (9(7) - 0) who hails from Iksan, South Korea and Myung-joo Ban(19(1) - 5 - 1) from Changwon, South Korea.  Both Sung and Ban weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ki-hun Koh, and the three ringside judges are Tae-hee Um, Hyun-jun Ye and Keun-ho Do.  

Round 1: 

Ban throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE BAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Sung sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Sung lands a cross, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Ban now seems to have got his legs back.  
Sung lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Sung could be enough to force the stoppage!  Sung lands a nasty right hook.  BAN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT BAN IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Sung!
