Matt Manenga vs Thabang Lakay

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 09/08/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Manenga (15 - 9 - 5) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Thabang Lakay(10 - 9(1) - 3) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Manenga and Lakay weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max De Jager, and the three ringside judges are Kofi Kpesebaan, William Ekstein and Nwa Ntuli.
