Peter Van Rooyen vs Treun Malan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Cape Town De Jongh, Cape Town,  taking place on 09/08/2027:

Clearly AI South Africa-Western Cape have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Western Cape Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Van Rooyen (1 - 3 - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Treun Malan(2 - 2 - 1) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Van Rooyen weighed in at 118 pounds, while Malan weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Nyatama, and the three ringside judges are Laken Ako, Madisha Mini and Colin Ntuli.
