Rashid Salaam vs Mahinder Jhaveri

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Shah Alam Rais, Shah Alam,  taking place on 01/08/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rashid Salaam (3 - 0) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Mahinder Jhaveri(4 - 3) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Salaam weighed in at 117 pounds And 15 ounces, while Jhaveri weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rashid Saad, and the three ringside judges are Zafa Othman, Shayan Zadeh and Sajid Bari.

Salaam tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Jhaveri's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Salaam about fouling.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Salaam has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
