Briant Kebe vs Davie Atsu

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Marius Ndiaye Arena, Dakar,  taking place on 30/09/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Briant Kebe (23(7) - 1) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Davie Atsu(17 - 7 - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Kebe and Atsu weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aramis Gassama, and the three ringside judges are Thibaud Ly, Brigham Coly and Borden Gladieux.  

Round 1: 

Kebe advances into close range.  Atsu throws a left hook, but Kebe holds on to his opponent.  Kebe leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Kebe pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kebe attempts to land a right uppercut, but Atsu sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Kebe lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Kebe closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Kebe lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Atsu's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Atsu's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
