Brett Lovelli vs Eric Brewster

Boxing Daily Report from the K Promotions promoted show at Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park, Sheffield,  taking place on 13/08/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Central England Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Lovelli (7 - 5 - 3) who hails from Nottingham, UK and Eric Brewster(13 - 2) from Leicester, UK.  Both Lovelli and Brewster weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aftab Bilal, and the three ringside judges are Bart McPhee, Matt McFee and Hassan Hassan.  

Round 1: 

Brewster lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Brewster attempts to land a cross, but Lovelli slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Brewster is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Brewster clinches his opponent.  Brewster pushes his forearm into Lovelli's face.  The ref breaks Brewster's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lovelli steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Brewster lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Brewster quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Lovelli gets on the inside.  Brewster lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Brewster clinches his opponent.  Brewster pushes his forearm into Lovelli's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Brewster.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Brewster.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
