Brett Nicholson vs Gavin Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Munachoonga Promotions promoted show at Edinburgh Brydon, Edinburgh,  taking place on 16/08/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brett Nicholson (13 - 7) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Gavin Owen(10 - 9(2)) from Dundee, UK.  Both Nicholson and Owen weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ed McPhatter, and the three ringside judges are Peter McAlister, Hamish McBeth and James Matthew.
