Leighton Saucer vs Sam Dowe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Gregor Condie Gym, Calgary,  taking place on 14/08/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Saucer (14 - 1 - 1) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Sam Dowe(7 - 9 - 5) from Calgary, Canada.  Saucer weighed in at 135 pounds, while Dowe weighed in at 134 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Lewis, and the three ringside judges are Theo Kimmons, Rob Spade and Rob Spade.  

Round 1: 

Dowe lands a cross.  Dowe tries to land a jab, but Saucer parries the shot and counters with a cross.
