Gig Herro vs Santiago Bejarano

Boxing Daily Report from the Millonarios promoted show at Estudios ATV, Lima,  taking place on 15/08/2027:

Clearly Millonarios have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Gig Herro (1 - 0) who hails from Huacho, Peru and Santiago Bejarano(2 - 1) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Herro weighed in at 108 pounds, while Bejarano weighed in at 107 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Bras, and the three ringside judges are Diego Lara, Ramiro Bautista and Xaverius Arredondo.  

Round 1: 

Herro closes the distance.  Herro sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Herro lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Herro clinches his opponent.  Herro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Herro about fouling.  
Bejarano pivots to the right of his opponent.  Herro lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Herro ties up his opponent.  Herro leans on his opponent using all his weight. Herro hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Herro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Herro about fouling.  
Herro lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Herro lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Herro ties up his opponent.  Herro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Herro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bejarano's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Bejarano's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
