Mikio Furuya vs Jun Oki

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Yokohama Arena, Yokohama,  taking place on 25/09/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Japan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mikio Furuya (23(14) - 1) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Jun Oki(20(10) - 4(1) - 1) from Hirakata, Japan.  Both Furuya and Oki weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hajime Oh, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Ishibashi, Kenji Shirai and Aoi Fujimori.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Oki has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Furuya is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head, AND SENDS OKI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Oki closes the distance.  Furuya stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Furuya lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS OKI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Furuya lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING OKI DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Oki cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Furuya!
