Carlo De Giovanni vs Leonardo Martini

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Lazio promoted show at Campo Roma, Rome,  taking place on 25/08/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlo De Giovanni (17(13) - 3(3) - 1) who hails from Verona, Italy and Leonardo Martini(13 - 4(2)) from Rome, Italy.  De Giovanni weighed in at 154 pounds, while Martini weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luca Borrelli, and the three ringside judges are Gianluigi Carossino, Massimo Bocchino and Mario Scappini.
