Venacio Amescua vs Edmundo Larez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Ciudad Victoria Rojo, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 25/08/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Venacio Amescua (12 - 0) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Edmundo Larez(6 - 10 - 2) from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  Amescua weighed in at 117 pounds And 12 ounces, while Larez weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edmundo Tierno, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Flores, Edmundo Tierno and Edmundo Naranjo.
