Roger Meikle vs John Malles

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Alabama promoted show at Kris Jerden Gym, Huntsville,  taking place on 23/08/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roger Meikle (9 - 12(1) - 3) who hails from Huntsville, USA and John Malles(14(1) - 3(1) - 1) from Mobile, USA.  Meikle weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Malles weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Glasford, and the three ringside judges are Brin Prentis, Seth Pyper and Kenzie Lovett.  

Round 1: 

Malles throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Malles closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.
