Rodrigo Polon vs Diego Alonzo

Boxing Daily Report from the Callybox promoted show at Mexicali Davila, Mexicali,  taking place on 29/08/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rodrigo Polon (14(4) - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Monterrey, Mexico and Diego Alonzo(13 - 2) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Polon weighed in at 175 pounds, while Alonzo weighed in at 174 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Navarra, and the three ringside judges are Zacarias Ramon, Tajo Aceves and Miguel Campoverde.
