Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Mamelodi Demuto, Mamelodi,  taking place on 01/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jackson Vilakazi (12 - 9 - 5) who hails from Germiston, South Africa and Jevonte Sono(14(1) - 5 - 2) from Durban, South Africa.  Vilakazi weighed in at 140 pounds, while Sono weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aenas Van der Walt, and the three ringside judges are Thomas Kotze, Roos Van der Linde and Simba Bariagher.
