Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sicily promoted show at Palermo Poli, Palermo,  taking place on 01/09/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leonardo Palomba (14 - 4 - 6) who hails from Messina, Italy and Carlo Catania(10 - 5(2) - 4) from Palermo, Italy.  Both Palomba and Catania weighed in at 147 pounds.
