Batur Bozkurt vs Mehmed Shashmaz

Boxing Daily Report from the Lunna Promotions promoted show at Deniz Ozbilgin Gym, Adana,  taking place on 01/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Adana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Batur Bozkurt (13 - 2 - 1) who hails from Adana, Turkey and Mehmed Shashmaz(15(1) - 1 - 1) from Adana, Turkey.  Both Bozkurt and Shashmaz weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Can Ganem, and the three ringside judges are Suleiman Derbil, Batur Safavi and Can Ganem.  

Round 1: 

Bozkurt hits home with a right uppercut.  
Shashmaz snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.

Shashmaz cuts off the ring, trapping Bozkurt in a corner.  Shashmaz pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a firm cross.
