Leighton McGuinness vs Kai Tod

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Kieran Smolak Gym, Joliet,  taking place on 02/09/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Great Lakes Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton McGuinness (4 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Chicago, USA and Kai Tod(9 - 11 - 2) from Chicago, USA.  McGuinness weighed in at 105 pounds, while Tod weighed in at 104 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kenzie Neily, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Baker, Rob Dockter and Wayne Gregor.  

Round 1: 

Tod lands a jab.  Tod attempts to land a right uppercut, but McGuinness sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
