Afon Chemerkin vs Yakiv Russak

Boxing Daily Report from the Kpegah Promotions promoted show at Timofei Panfil Gym, Melitopol,  taking place on 31/08/2027:

Clearly Kpegah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ukraine-Zaporizhia Oblast Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Afon Chemerkin (4 - 3 - 4) who hails from Melitopol, Ukraine and Yakiv Russak(9 - 9 - 3) from Zaporizhia, Ukraine.  Both Chemerkin and Russak weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vasili Markin, and the three ringside judges are Apostol Sklar, Vasyl Bartosh and Fedya Sigachev.  

Round 1: 

Russak connects with a cross.  
Chemerkin tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.
